The QZ electric grab bridge crane primarily consists of a box-shaped bridge, grab assembly, trolley traveling mechanism, cab, and electric control system. Its core load-handling device is the grab, which is designed to efficiently capture and transport bulk materials.
The grab assembly incorporates both a switching mechanism and a lifting mechanism. Four steel wire ropes are individually connected and suspended from both the switching mechanism and the lifting mechanism to support and manipulate the grab. The switching mechanism controls the opening and closing of the grab; when materials need to be grabbed, the switching mechanism actuates to close the grab securely around the materials. Once the grab is closed and firmly gripping the materials, the lifting mechanism engages, hoisting the materials via the four evenly loaded steel wire ropes to the desired height.
To discharge the materials, the process is equally straightforward. Simply reactivate the switching mechanism, which opens the grab, allowing the materials to pour out naturally.
Aside from the specialized lifting mechanism and grab assembly, the QZ electric grab bridge crane shares similarities with traditional bridge cranes equipped with hooks, making it highly versatile, convenient for maintenance and operation, as well as compatible with other lifting equipment.
